What kinds of wood are your saunas built with?
We offer a variety saunas in Western Red or Knotty Cedar. The Western Red, harvested from the west coast North America, showcases a clear grain with minimal knots. On the other hand, Knot Cedar, sourced from smaller trees or the upper sections with more branches, typically contains more knots. Both options boast exceptional quality, so your choice ultimately comes down to your personal aesthetic preference.
How hot do your saunas get?
Our saunas can reach temperatures of 190° Fahrenheit and higher, depending on the external weather conditions.
Can my sauna be painted or stained?
You can stain or paint the exterior of your sauna with any-transparent outdoor stain, and we recommend Sikkens for its excellent quality. Please note that the interior of our saunas is not designed to be painted or stained.
How should I maintain my sauna?
We suggest cleaning your sauna frequently with mild soap and water. After each use, wipe down the benches and ensure proper ventilation. Additionally, remember to regularly treat the exterior wood surfaces to preserve their appearance.
